Field Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Provide a consistently high level of global front line support to our main customers in display driver, power management and automotive products.
  • Provide first line technical support to customers during design, pre and post sales phases including system integration and applications debugging.
  • Creating applications collateral including development of design kits, creations of application notes and to assist with product positioning and promotion.
Key Candidate Attributes:
  • Highly experienced in front line customer support / interface.
  • Experience of IC design and proven capability to provide first line applications support for IC’s.
  • University degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in specified product areas.
  • Fluent Korean and English.
 Desirable:
  • Proven success in demand creation and NPD.
  • Proven commercial acumen with the ability to relate technical issues to return on investment.
 Behavioural Competencies:
  • Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and service-minded.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.
